  5.        Thank you for taking a look at THE INTERSTATE TRAVELER.  I hope you
  6.        will find it useful and want to add it to your software library.

  8.        The program requires an IBM or IBM compatible PC, 640K of RAM, 16
  9.        color VGA color graphics display, DOS 3.3+, a hard drive, and a Micro-
  10.        soft compatible mouse.  An Epson/IBM compatible dot matrix printer is
  11.        required for printing the maps displayed on the screen.

  13.        If installing from a CD-ROM, copy the un-archived files to a direc-
  14.        tory (IST30, for example) on your hard disk. The program will not run
  15.        directly from the CD-ROM.

  17.        To run the program after installation, make the directory containing
  18.        the program files the default directory (CD\IST30, for example),
  19.        key-in IST, and press ENTER.
  20.  
  21.        To get into the program quickly and see what it can do, print the
  22.        SAMPLE.RUN file.  Use the printout as a script for running the
  23.        program.  It will guide you, step by step, through the trip planning
  24.        process.

  27.        the payment of a registration fee should you wish to continue using
  28.        it after a reasonable trial period.
